The SEEDEAL project tackles the development of SEE countries/regions through implementation of the EU guidelines on the Sustainable Tourism (ST)-Agenda 21(2007). It offers advanced strategy by protecting the environment while at the same time exploiting the regions untapped natural and human resources in order to enable growth and employment. 8 project partners from 6 countries will be designing an innovative line of cross-sectoral Integrated Tourist & Business Products (ITBPs). The general objective of the SEEDEAL project is to develop an innovative two stream approach: 1) The present day individual SEE regions tourist product portfolio will be integrated by the portfolios from neighbouring regions and 2) The synergistic effects will be exploited between tourist and business sectors to obtain ITBPs. Main activities will be: mapping of natural, cultural and craft heritage, development of ITBPs, identification of key incoming tourist actors, implementation of ICT tools for tourism.
