For the second year, the fair "Crossroads of Europe" will highlight the importance of European Cultural Routes in the development of a new form of tourism, focused on the respect of environment, culture and populations.
The aim of the fair is to promote cooperation and exchange between possible partners in tourism services and to raise awareness of the potential for this new kind of tourism.

This conference will underline how cultural tourism - and especially cultural routes - can, beyond the diversity of European cultures, strengthen the sense of common values and heritage, and reinforce the feeling of European citizenship. 2013 is the European Year for citizenship.
Workshops will bring together stakeholders of European tourism industry, cultural organisations and public authorities to explore the ways to work together on the promotion of cultural routes, their contribution to the diversification of tourism and to sustainability.
